You are warmly invited to share our enthusiastic interest in learning more about the Arts by attending our programme of fascinating lectures, special interest days, social events and visiting places of outstanding interest.
We are a friendly, voluntary organisation that provides an opportunity for local residents to meet in a social and cultural atmosphere.
Lectures
Our lectures are usually held every second Wednesday of the month for ten months of the year at the Warwick Hall, Church Green, Burford, OX18 4RY. The lectures are held at the Warwick Hall in person and also offered via zoom for those who prefer that. Visitors are welcome in person, and must pay a £10 charge.
An invitation to every lecture is sent via the monthly newsletter, alongside regular updates of other activities and events.
The meeting starts at 10.50am and lectures start at 11.00am and usually run for an hour. READ MORE
Membership renewals are now open.
New members are warmly welcome. At the moment our membership is FULL. You can, however, apply to join our waiting list here on the website or at the Warwick Hall at one of our meetings. Once our existing members have had a chance to renew for 2026 membership, any remaining places will be offered to the waiting list.
You will find that the Arts Society is not just a great way to learn – it’s a fun way of making new and lasting friendships
