A Very Special Guided Tour of the Ca Rezzonico and its Art Collection in Venice

TUESDAY 18th May at 11am

With Siân Walters and Luisella Romeo

Siân Walters is a popular Art Society lecturer who specialises in Italian art; and Luisella Romeo is an expert Venetian guide who has been conducting virtual tours of Venice during lockdown.

Ca' Rezzonico is a 17th century palace overlooking the Grand Canal which houses one of the most fascinating museums in Venice, with furniture, paintings and sculptures of the 18th century. We are extremely privileged to have an exclusive opportunity to learn about the treasures of the palace.
Closed to the public on that day, Siân and Luisella have persuaded the director of the palace to open especially for us on (even if Italy is in lockdown then).

Only £15 per person (including the £5 for the museum entrance). Booking is open!

Highgrove Gardens Visits

We have booked two Highgrove Gardens Group tours - one on Tuesday 6th July 2021, and another on Tuesday 17th August 2021.

Tours on Tuesday 6th July or Tuesday 17th August 2021

These are each an exclusive group tour of the beautiful Royal Gardens for up to 26 people on each date.

The two-hour tour will be led by one of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales’s experienced guides. In addition to revealing the gardens’ history, organic management and sources of inspiration, they will explain the hidden curios and horticultural innovations behind them.

The tour lasts 2 hours, beginning at 12.30 pm but please arrive by 12 noon (ie 30 minutes before the tour starts) to allow time for security checks.

The security is high - you will need to bring photographic identification (i.e. passport, driving licence, or bus pass with a photo) with you.

Highgrove is a place of peace and tranquillity, where The Prince’s passion and imagination have been etched onto the Cotswold landscape. From the magnificent Wildflower Meadow to the enchanting setting of the Arboretum, the gardens embody His Royal Highness’s gardening ideals and organic principles.

This is a self-drive visit - you will need to drive yourself or organise to share your own transport with another member.
